My Thoughts Exactly October Stamp Relsease and Day 2 of the Spook-tacular Blog Hop

Boo! Did I scare you? Ok probably not but it was fun :) If you are here for the Spook-tacular Blog Hop and have arrived from Anna Dawn's blog then you are on the right track! If not and you'd like to start from the beginning please head over to the SVG Attic Blog. Today is a super special day because it is the long awaited release of Halloween stamps at My Thoughts Exactly! There is not one but two sets! Are you ready to see them yet? Well let's talk about a few of the details first and then we can look at them...These are still mix and match stamps with a few full phrase stamps thrown in. The design team had so much fun helping Alyssa come up with phrases that they had to make two sets to fit all the phrases in, we couldn't decided which ones to get rid of :) Each set will be $15 as usual, which includes shipping, however if you buy both sets in the special bundle they are only $25! How awesome is that?!? Be sure to read all the way to the end, there may be a little surprise at the end. Ok here they are:

I know, they are so awesome!! So my project today is inspired by my inability to decide on anything, kinda like which stamp phrases to cut :) I warn you there are a million pictures, ok so not a million but enough!
I was also inspired by the old Farmer Says toys, you know the one where you pulled the cord and the arrow spun around until it landed on and animal. Then it would say something like the cow says moo...I thought why not make a 'Pick a Costume' game to decide what I'm going to be for Halloween? I used all the characters from the Spooky Friends set at SVG Attic for this as well as the Fright Night Phrases for the title.
I used three stamps for this. The pick and a are from stamps with other words also attached but I just inked what I wanted to create my own phrase! Here are some closer looks are all the little characters:
We have Vladimir the vampire
Woolferton the werewolf
Mummet the mummy
Whizzy the wizard
Wendy the witch
Purrela the pussy cat
Mrs. Frankenstein
Mr. Frankenstein
and Gordy the ghost
Phew that was a lot of pictures! But I have a few more for you. This next one just shows the game hanging up, sorry for the crappy lighting it was really dark when I took it but you get the idea.
And last but not least, my dog. I was trying to get a picture of my game hanging up and she kept chasing the focus light on my camera. She would not leave me alone so I snapped a picture of her mid 'point' at the light.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today! Alyssa has offered $5 gift cards to all the design team girls to giveaway for the release, so just leave me a comment on this post telling me what you'd make with the stamps if you'd like a chance to get the $5 GC, that's over 30% off one set! Be sure to leave me a way to conntact to too. Be sure to stop by and check out all the design team projects over at My Thoughts Exactly.

If you're following the hop your next stop is Raven's blog. Don't forget your 30% off coupon code for the remainder of the hop, SVGHOP, and you chance to win a $10 gc here or $30 gc at the SVG Attic blog.

Spooky crafting,
